1 killed, 2 Hurt after Building Collapse in Addis
One person was killed and two others injured after a warehouse collapse in Addis Ababa city, Police said.
The accident occurred around 03:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon in Ammanuel Area of Addis Ketema Sub-City.
Com. Meaza Woldegebreal of Mesalemya Area Police said the warehouse partially collapsed after it was filled with rainwater.
The side of the building fell down on adjacent houses while the residents were inside.
With the support of the ppublic, Police said they were able to rescue three people from the debris and transport them to hospital.
One of the three passed away in the hospital from a serious injury sustained from the accident.
The other two, who are also seriously hurt, are still receiving treatments in hospital.
